As I've showcased in the blog, there are so many great heist films, and it's too bad most of them are not widely known because independent films often seem to have little to no marketing budgets.
Not to be confused with the Heist film from 2001, Heist from 2015 stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Robert De Niro, and Dave Bautista about a casino robbery gone wrong. Heist has an outstanding script and excellent cast, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan stands out as the protagonist trying to save his ailing daughter. Heist is an underrated gem and one of my top favorite heist movies, along the likes of Heat, Time To Hunt, Tracers, and Wrath of Man.
