Poor AI. The technology gets demonized in films all the time.
Outside The Wire is like Training Day in a futuristic military setting. It's 2036, and the United States is caught up in a civil war in Eastern Europe. Avoiding a court-martial, a drone pilot who disobeyed a direct order that resulted in casualties is paired with the idiosyncratic Captain Leo, played by Anthony Mackie, to obtain some "authority of experience."
Excellently written and directed, Outside The Wire is one of the best and most underrated films from Netflix.
