She's been in major and independent films, but Olga Kurylenko has yet to reach the same popularity as some of her counterparts in Hollywood. Simply put, the Ukrainian-French actress is an underrated action star.
One of my favorite films with Olga Kurylenko is The Courier (not to be confused with The Courier from 2020 with Benedict Cumberbatch). The story has the familiar premise in which the protagonist, played by Kurylenko, becomes the protector of another, in this case, an eyewitness to a high-profile case with a mobster, played by Gary Oldman.
The Courier is kind of a cross between Die Hard and Dredd. It may be a little formulaic and a bit on the violent side, but it's well done and has good characters, action, and humor.
