She's practically an unknown to most people, but Elsa Pataky is a beautiful actress, model, and wife of Chris Hemsworth. She's made cameo appearances in her husband's movies, most recently in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
Elsa Pataky has mainly played supporting roles, like in the Fast & Furious films, but she headlined the Netflix action flick Interceptor from 2022, which is kind of like Die Hard on the sea. The movie is about U.S. military installations whose sole mission is to intercept nuclear missiles launched by Russia, and they've been overtaken by American terrorists. Interceptor is an extremely underappreciated action film, and it's excellently written with a subplot about sexual harassment and bullying.
Lead stars have to carry their action movies, and Elsa Pataky demonstrates she has the potential to become an A-list female action star with her badassery. I hope she takes on more leading roles on the big screen. For now, check her out in Interceptor, which I highly recommend.
