I've seen a few independant films about military drone pilots, but they were a bit too slow for me as I recall. You can do so much in a movie from the perspective of a drone pilot.
Land of Bad, on the other hand, steps it up with a lot of ground action. Starring Russell Crowe and Liam Hemsworth, Land of Bad starts off kind of slow and has some brutal violence, but it's one of the best military action films I've seen in a while, and it's a Ted-Certified Movie Gem.
