One Life

You've heard of Oskar Schindler, on whom Schindler's List is based, but have you heard of Nicholas Winton?

In One Life, Anthony Hopkins plays the old Nicholas Winton, the British stockbroker who saved over 600 children, who were mostly Jewish, from German Nazis shortly before the start of World War II.

One cannot help but be moved by Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List, but One Life is especially heartbreaking because it's about children. There's a viral video about Nicholas Winton when he appeared on the TV Show That's Life with dozens of the children he saved, now all grown up. One Life tells the incredible and powerfully emotional story behind the humanitarian efforts to save those children.
